During his career in China, Pei-Kun was married to Kang-Nan Li, whose musical roots began with the traditional pipa. She later transitioned into a vocal career, joining the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra (上海乐团) and performing as a member of a prominent vocal trio. The couple performed numerous concerts together and had one daughter, Yalun.

在中国职业生涯时期，奚培坤与李康南结为连理。李康南早年以演奏传统乐器琵琶开启音乐生涯，后转型为女高音歌唱家，曾任职于上海乐团并作为三重唱组合的成员登台献艺。夫妻二人曾多次同台演出，并育有一女，名亚伦。
